SEGEL OUT OF MUPPETS SEQUEL

Jason Segel was instrumental in bringing The Muppets back to the big screen as he both starred and co-wrote the movie. The movie has earned $153.7 million worldwide enough to garner a sequel which Disney has said is in the works, but Segel confirmed that he won't be returning for it.

NEW MEN IN BLACK 3 TRAILER

Sony released the second movie trailer for Men in Black 3. In this trailer we finally see some aliens and we get some face time with Josh Brolin's very convincing younger Agent K.

In theatres May 25th, Men in Black 3 stars Will Smith, Tommy Lee Jones, Brolin, Emma Thompson and Alice Eve.

KINNAMAN SET FOR ROBOCOP

MGM has closed its deal with Joel Kinnaman to play the title role in Robocop, the remake that is being directed by Jose Padilha.

Deadline revealed that the offer had gone to Kinnaman to take the role originated by Peter Weller in the 1987 Paul Verhoeven original.

AVENGERS TRAILER SETS RECORD

The new trailer for The Avengers was released earlier this week to much applause from the movie world. The reception was so huge that the trailer set a new record for most views in 24 hours, racking northwards of 13 million views on iTunes.

The ultimate superhero movie finally brings together the characters from Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk, Thor and The First Avenger: Captain America as they team up to save the world from Thor's brother Loki and his army of whatever it is. It's set for release on May 4th.

The film stars Robert Downey Jr., Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Chris Evans, Samuel L. Jackson, Jeremy Renner and Scarlett Johanson. If you haven't seen the newest trailer than look below.
