Cinematic for the People: NBR Awards/Krampus/Brooklyn/Trumbo

#057: NBR Awards/Krampus/Brooklyn/Trumbo On this episode of Cinematic for the People, Ben sits down with Michael Denniston for an ultimately pointless conversation about an ultimately pointless group of film critics and their ultimately pointless set of awards winners which happens to be the first major kick off to an ultimately pointless season of shameless award giving. Then Ben and Chris break out the old aluminum Festivus pole for a review of the new christmas/horror film Krampus. Ben airs his grievances on the film while Chris celebrates it's feats of strength. This leads to another Festivus miracle when Ben and Clinton Cornwell convene for a review of the new period drama Brooklyn. Finally Ben is joined by Jeff Broitman for a review of Trumbo proving that the highs and lows of the Festivus season are all too real. Enjoy! 00:26- NBR Award Winners Discussion 21:57- Krampus 35:11- Brooklyn 50:56- Trumbo 1:15:26- Outro and Preview for Next Week
