The Snake Alley Festival of Film (SNAFF) was first conceived by filmmaker, actor, writer, and director, Lonnie Schuyler along with a diverse group of city leaders and film enthusiasts in Burlington, Iowa. Their idea was to use the newly restored Capitol Theater in Burlington to host a film festival featuring the best independent short films from around the world. This theater, which holds more than 400, projects a 1920’s ambiance and state-of-the-art digital technology. With 120 short films spread across 4 days. This years SNAFF is the largest to date.
