ORIGINAL REMAKE: Bad Moms and A Bad Moms Christmas

We bring on the world's biggest fan of the Bad Moms Cinematic Universe,  Jairo  of the  True Bromance Film Podcast , to see if one of his favorite films of 2016 is a rare comedy sequel that works. Along the way we disagree on what's considered a Christmas movie classic, the merits of sequels leading to an eventual ROCKY IV, and what exactly the age demographic should be for the hypothetical third installment in the BAD MOMS series. Like Hollywood, we get a jump on the holiday bitterness with our episode on A BAD MOMS CHRISTMAS, and you should too! This docuseries takes viewers into the heart of devastating wildfires in California. Due to factors that include climate change and altered vegetation patterns, the number of infernos that erupt during fire season are on the rise, leading to lives being lost and millions of dollars worth of damage being done. "Fire Chasers" follows members of Cal Fire and the Los Angeles County Fire Department as they battle the blazes that threaten wildlife, natural terrain and potentially thousands of homes. The show also highlights new recruits who are training to join the force and artists who document the apocalyptic-looking damage in photos. Today my guest on the show the cinematographer for FIRE CHASERS, Steve Holleran. I asked Steve on the show to discuss the series, climate change, how skateboarding influenced his work, and an experimental one take film that takes place on the night of Trump's election called A BOY, A DREAM: LOVE ON ELECTION NIGHT. Maynard interviews include President Bill Clinton, Al Sharpton, Vernon Jordan, Ambassador Andrew Young, Rev. Joseph Lowery, Jesse Jackson, former Atlanta Mayor’s Sam Massel and Shirley Franklin, and current Mayor Kasim Reed to name a few. Dagg Written by Ben China and Paul China Starring Jon Bernthal, Christopher Abbott, Imogen Poots, Rosemarie DeWitt, Odessa Young SWEET VIRGINIA will open theatrically in Select Cities on November 17th A burglary-homicide rattles the residents of a small Alaska town, in particular two women made widows by the crime and their mutual friend, Sam, the proprietor of the local motor lodge. Sam is an outsider himself, a former rodeo champ all too happy to leave the jolt and violence of the ring behind. So when his guests prove unruly or a stranger reaches out to him, reluctance is his natural response. Secrets are revealed, violence increases, and the people in town act more unhinged. His hesitancy — and his willingness to move past it — becomes the lynchpin for his survival.

THE GRAND GESTURE: Forgetting Sarah Marshall

On this episode we take a trip to get over our previous episodes of love, longing, and heartache with  Alyssa  of the  Hindsight Movie Podcast . Unfortunately for her this podcast trip includes Jason Segal in the nude (usually crying), Mr. Segal having sex (while almost crying), and taking in the sights (while almost dying). Fortunately for you the listener, we don't do any of those things, and discuss the idea of a permanent vacation lifestyle, worst music associated with our own real life romances (Jared Leto tops the Dracula musical easily), and how Bill Hader is the perfect man (this mostly comes from Mike). Join us for our episode on FORGETTING SARAH MARSHALL!
