Producer Lisa Saltzman announced today the acquisition of film rights to Mark Bego’s upcoming biography Joe Cocker: With a Lot of Help from His Friends which follows the life and career of the Grammy Award-winning hitmaker.  Mark Bego, the author of 68 published books on rock and roll, will release his next book Joe: Cocker: With a Lot of Help From His Friends published by Yorkshire Publishing on November 16, 2023. The biography tells the story of Cocker's life as one of “achieving goals, making disastrous mistakes, and eventually finding happiness and redemption in the eleventh hour.” It is the first biography written about Cocker since his death in 2014.  Joe Cocker, a British blues-rock singer known for his raspy voice, became one of the most distinctive vocalists of his generation. Shout! TV will present an encore presentation of the 2022 Masters of Monsters Godzilla marathon hosted by horror legend John Carpenter. In celebration of Godzilla Day on November 3rd, Shout!
