DIE IN A GUNFIGHT Trailer

In Die in a Gunfight, Mary (Alexandra Daddario) and Ben (Diego Boneta) are the star-crossed black sheep of two powerful families engaged in a centuries-long feud – and they’re about to reignite an affair after many years apart. Their forbidden love will trigger the dominoes that will draw in Mukul (Wade Allain-Marcus), Ben’s best friend, who owes him a life debt; Terrence (Justin Chatwin), Mary’s would-be protector-turned-stalker; Wayne (Travis Fimmel), an Aussie hitman with an open mind and a code of ethics; and his free-spirited girlfriend, Barbie (Emmanuelle Chriqui). Today I'm Joined by the director of God Exists Her Name is Petrunya. The film is based on a true story. It takes place in Stip, a small town in Macedonia. Every 19th of January for the holiday of Epiphany, the throwing of the cross event takes place in almost all the Orthodox world of Eastern Europe. The local priest throws a wooden cross into the river and hundreds of men dive after it. Good fortune and prosperity are guaranteed to the man who retrieves it. This time, the young woman Petrunya dives into the water on a whim and manages to grab the cross before the others. Her competitors are furious, the local population as well as religious establishments are outraged as women aren’t allowed to take part in the ritual.  All hell breaks loose, but Petrunya holds her ground. The next day, in an interview to the local television station she encourages more women to jump for the cross in the future. IFC FILMS PICKS UP “DATING & NEW YORK” STARRING JABOUKIE YOUNG-WHITE AHEAD OF TRIBECA WORLD PREMIERE

 IFC Films announced today that they are acquiring North American rights to the millennial rom-com Dating & New York, written and directed by Jonah Feingold in his feature directorial debut. An official selection of the 2021 Tribeca Film Festival, Dating & New York will make its World Premiere at the festival this Sunday, June 13. IFC Films will release the film theatrically, on digital platforms, and Cable VOD September 2021. With a stand-out cast of emerging actors and comedians, Dating & New York stars Francesca Reale (Stranger Things), Jaboukie Young-White (The Daily Show with Trevor Noah), Catherine Cohen (Seek Treatment podcast), Brian Muller (Bridge and Tunnel), and Jerry Ferrara (Entourage). “CONAN” on TBS Announces Guests for Final Two Weeks of Shows Along With Addition of a Live Audience

  Conan O’Brien’s long-running TBS late-night show, “CONAN” announces an exciting lineup of guests for its final two weeks of shows. Guests will include Martin Short, Bill Hader, Mila Kunis, Dana Carvey, JB Smoove and Patton Oswalt plus special surprise guests as well as a look-back at memorable moments of this iteration of O’Brien’s historic late-night career. Jack Black will serve as the show’s final guest during the June 24 hour-long finale episode airing at 10:00pm ET/PT.   After more than a year of doing shows without a live studio audience, “CONAN” will finally welcome fans at the Largo Theater during the final two weeks.
