Episode 135 of War Machine vs. War Horse: The Age of Adaline (Death Becomes Her vs. The Fountain)

Last time on War Machine vs. War Horse we looked at kids seeking immortality through music, but this time we skip all that hippie crap and get straight to how Blake Lively does it in THE AGE OF ADALINE. This inspires a look back at Meryl Streep and Goldie Hawn trying to conquer the aging process for reasons of vanity in DEATH BECOMES HER, going up against Hugh Jackman making the conquering of death the ultimate quest of love for Rachel Weisz, which has him traveling through time and space in THE FOUNTAIN. Michael Denniston and Emily Mackay also debate the ending of WOMAN IN GOLD, coming to the conclusion that it should have just ripped off the final scene of KILLING THEM SOFTLY.
