Swedish artist Anders Weberg is at the very least ambitious. He hopes to set the record for the longest film with AmbiancΓ©, a 720-hour experimental film. In anticipation of its 2020 release, Weberg has posted the first teaser trailer for AmbiancΓ©, which has a brisk running time of 72 minutes.
The short trailer will be 7 hours and 20 minutes. Followed by the 72 hour trailer and finally the 720 hour film in full.
In case you were wondering (I was), the longest-film record is held by Modern Times Forever, a ten-day-long Danish film from 2011 that chronicles the deterioration of a building in Helsinki.
If you have 72 minutes kill check out the link to teaser below, it will be pulled from the internet on July 20th.
