Daniel Moya talks Rental

Rental director Daniel Moya chats about his kickstarter

'Rental' tells the story of Darren, an employee at the last ever video rental store on his final shift. An aspiring screenwriter, he is constantly imagining the surreal possibilities of cinema in his own life, blurring the line between reality and fiction.
The relationships with the customers (who have each been affected by movies in a different way) and the romance that he tries to create with his co-worker, Tessa, shift his outlook on life forever.
In the same way that one rents a movie and returns it with only the memory to hold onto, this film tackles the coming and going of people, feelings and ways of life.
