EASY LIVING Interview w/ Writer/Director Adam Keleman

Today's guest on the podcast is Adam Keleman. The writer/director of EASY LIVING, a film that debuted to rave reviews at this years SXSW film festival.

Easy Living begins with a montage of Sherry Graham (Caroline Dhavernas), a door-to-door makeup saleswoman, chatting and selling makeup with her clients.  We see Sherry connecting with strangers in confident, yet intimate, ways.

However, we quickly learn that Sherry is somewhat estranged from her family, and often goes to bars to find a connection and pick up men. After an ultimatum from her sister, Sherry tries to open up her own salon with her best friend, and also date one of the local bar regulars. As Sherry’s plans begin to unravel, she takes control of her life in a dramatic turn of events.

WHAT THE FEST!? Interview with Larry Fessenden on DEPRAVED

On this episode of the podcast, I had the chance to chat with genre legend Larry Fessenden. He was kind enough to carve out 20 minutes of his day to chat with me about his latest film DEPRAVED, the opening night selection for this year's WHAT THE FEST!?
Shot on the 200th Anniversary of Mary Shelley’s FRANKENSTEIN,  writer-director Larry Fessenden’s brings his unique vision of the literary classic in DEPRAVED, set in modern Brooklyn. This meditative reimagining of the novel explores the crisis of masculinity and ideas about loneliness, memory and the subtle psychological shocks that shape us as individuals.
