Narrated by Academy Award winner Jennifer Lawrence, A Beautiful Planet is a breathtaking portrait of Earth from space, providing a unique perspective and increased understanding of our planet and galaxy as never seen before.

Made in cooperation with the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), the film features stunning footage of our magnificent blue planet – and the effects humanity has had on it over time – captured by the astronauts aboard the International Space Station (ISS). From space, Earth blazes at night with the electric intensity of human expansion – a direct visualization of our changing world. But it is within our power to protect the planet. As we continue to explore and gain knowledge of our galaxy, we also develop a deeper connection to the place we all call home.

Narrated by Academy Award winner Cate Blanchett, Journey to the South Pacific will take moviegoers on a breathtaking IMAX adventure to the lush tropical islands of remote West Papua, where life flourishes above and below the sea.

Join Jawi, a young island boy as he takes us on a journey of discovery to this magical place where we encounter whale sharks, sea turtles, manta rays, and other iconic creatures of the sea. Home to more than 2000 species of sea life, this exotic locale features the most diverse marine ecosystem on Earth. An uplifting story of hope and celebration, Journey to the South Pacific highlights the importance of living in balance with the ocean planet we all call home.

Both films are currently available for order from Amazon or directly from MILL CREEK and are most owns for anyone new to 4K. They truly unlock the power of UHD and present jaw-dropping images that will impress even the most unimpressionable viewers. I've purchased a handful of 4K titles in the last couple of months and most show little to no improvement over their 2k counterparts.  These titles buck that trend and fully deliver on the formats visual potential.

Following Films Podcast: Malcom Goodwin on REACHER

Today I'm joined by actor Malcolm Goodwin to discuss his role in the upcoming Amazon Prime series REACHER REACHER follows Jack Reacher (Alan Ritchson), a veteran military police investigator who has just recently entered civilian life. Reacher is a drifter, carrying no phone and the barest of essentials as he travels the country and explores the nation he once served. When Reacher arrives in the small town of Margrave, Georgia, he finds a community grappling with its first homicide in 20 years. The cops immediately arrest him and eyewitnesses claim to place Reacher at the scene of the crime. While he works to prove his innocence, a deep-seated conspiracy begins to emerge, one that will require Reacher’s keen mind and hard-hitting fists to deal with. One thing above all is for sure: They picked the wrong guy to take the fall.

War Machine vs. War Horse: Miss Sloane (Bowling for Columbine vs. Runaway Jury)

Inspired by new release MISS SLOANE we attempt to control gun control cinema as seen in the Michael Moore documentary BOWLING FOR COLUMBINE and the John Grisham film adaptation of RUNAWAY JURY. To take on such heavy hitters as Gene Hackman and Dustin Hoffman we need  Dwight Hurst of The Broken Brain podcast , and  a huge fan of The West Wing in Ben Zuk  to walk and talk with Jessica Chastain. ALSO: We propose MySpace as a place for former jury fixers to find their next gig.
