US RELEASE DATE SET FOR BODYBUILDING CHAMPION, PHIL HEATH’S DOCUMENTARY - BREAKING OLYMPIA: THE PHIL HEATH STORY

Seven Bucks Productions, along with Executive Producers Dany Garcia and Dwayne Johnson, has announced the release of Breaking Olympia: The Phil Heath Story on digital platforms for rent and purchase on March 26, 2024. Directed by Brett Harvey, the documentary sheds light on the remarkable life journey of Phil Heath, a seven-time Mr. Olympia champion, as he overcomes tough competition and media scrutiny to establish his legacy and become the greatest Mr. Olympia champion of all time.

Touted as the definitive and never-before-told story of Phil Heath, one of the greatest bodybuilders of all time, the film features interviews with renowned personalities such as Dwayne Johnson, Ronnie Coleman, Jay Cutler, Kai Greene, Brandon Curry, Dexter Jackson, and many more. Breaking Olympia focuses on the pivotal point in Heath’s career when he stands on the brink of making history despite the injuries that come with 18 years of physical and mental sacrifice.

Brett Harvey, a Canadian documentarian, directs the film. He is best known for the critically acclaimed Inmate #1: The Rise of Danny Trejo, which has a perfect 100% Fresh score on Rotten Tomatoes. His other illuminating documentaries include The Union: The Business Behind Getting High and The Culture High, which shed light on the war on drugs in the United States. He also directed the critically acclaimed Ice Guardians, which is about enforcers in the NHL.
