Pack your stimpaks and clear some shelf space. Following its explosive debut, Alliance Home Entertainment and Amazon MGM Studios have officially announced that Fallout Season 2 is coming to physical media on May 19th.
The critically acclaimed series is making the jump from Prime Video to a comprehensive 3-disc collection available on 4K UHD, Blu-ray, and DVD. For the collectors looking to survive the wasteland in style, there is also a Limited Edition Amazon Exclusive 4K UHD Steelbook that includes eight collectible art cards.
While the inaugural season focused on the irradiated ruins of Los Angeles, Season 2 picks up immediately after that massive cliffhanger. The story shifts its gaze toward the iconic Mojave Wasteland, following Lucy (Ella Purnell), Maximus (Aaron Moten), and The Ghoul (Walton Goggins) as they trek toward the neon-soaked, post-apocalyptic remains of New Vegas.
The series continues to be steered by executive producers Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy, alongside showrunners Geneva Robertson-Dworet and Graham Wagner. By collaborating closely with Bethesda Game Studios’ Todd Howard and James Altman, the production maintains the retro-futuristic soul and deep lore that fans of the game franchise demand.
Special Features and Bonus Content
Across all eight episodes, the release includes over 30 minutes of bonus material designed to take viewers deeper into the Vault. Highlights of the supplemental package include:
- Audio Commentary: An inside look at Episode 8, “The Strip,” featuring stars Aaron Moten and Kyle MacLachlan.
- Welcome Back To The Wasteland: A behind-the-scenes featurette on the production.
- New Vegas Featurette: A deep dive into recreating the legendary city for the screen.
- Fallout: Fake Talkshow: A comedic interview segment with the ensemble cast.
- RobCo Animated Series: A collection of shorts in the classic Fallout animation style.
- The Ghoul Log: A special atmospheric feature (exclusive to the 4K and Blu-ray editions).
The second season expands its impressive roster, bringing back Purnell, Moten, and Goggins, while featuring series regulars Kyle MacLachlan, Moisés Arias, and Frances Turner. Joining the chaos this season are heavy hitters Justin Theroux (The Leftovers) and Macaulay Culkin (American Horror Story).
With critics calling the show "endlessly impressive" and a "wholly unique sci-fi series," this physical release is a must-own for fans of the genre!
Fallout Season 2 arrives in stores and on your doorstep May 19th. Pre-orders are currently live on Amazon.
