After neraly ten years Nick Frost's photo from Shaun of the Dead has been developed

I think the title of the post pretty much sums up the whole story. I can't find the source of the photo to give proper credit but these two pictures have been all over the internets in the last 24 hours.

James Ransone and Shannyn Sossaman set to star in Sinister 2

James Ransone will reprise his role from the 2012 Blumhouse production alongside Shannyn Sossaman. The first Sinister made $78 million on a $3 million budget so this sequel is not really a surprise. It's only surprising that it took two years to green light the follow up. Jason Blum will be producing the film.

Cabin Fever: Patient Zero Review

2014 Starring Sean Astin, Currie Graham and Ryan Donowho Directed By Kaare Andrews Following in the shoes of Ti West and Eli Roth has to be a daunting task. Ti West the man responsible for some of the best horror films of the last 10 years made a bad Cabin Fever movie so how could Kaare Andrews make this one succeed. Trying to up the ante in films that were already batshit crazy doesn’t seem possible so what do you do? Help Save Scarecrow Video

I became aware of Scarecrow Video after David Chen made a wonderful short film about the North West video store last year. The store is massive, independently owned and one many businesses struck hard by new media. I miss video stores. We only have one decent sized video store left here in Tucson and even though I only rent from them a few times a year its an experience I always cherish. Walking up and down the isles, looking at the staff picks and trying to find that little seen masterpiece that I could show to my friends. The video store was the record shop for the socially awkward misfits like myself. It was a place where I was a part of a tribe. A place where the patrons and employees spoke my language. I love the convenience of VOD but we've lost something with streaming media that cannot be replaced. Conversation. Scarecrow has started a  Kickstarter  to help keep the store open. Help keep the Seattle conversation going.
