WHISTLE, the upcoming supernatural horror film from director Corin Hardy (The Nun, Gangs of London), will hit theaters in 2026 — and it’s already shaping up to be one of my most anticipated genre films announced for next year.
In the film, a misfit group of high school students stumble upon a cursed relic: an Aztec Death Whistle, an ancient artifact that unleashes a sound capable of summoning death itself. When the whistle is blown, the terrifying echo calls forth each teen's own future demise — now hunting them one by one.
With the body count rising and time running out, the group dives into the deadly origins of the whistle in a desperate bid to stop the curse before it claims them all.
