Some of the notable spins on this classic yarn are THE MOST DANGEROUS GAME (1932), THE RUNNING MAN (1987), SURVIVING THE GAME (1994), THE PEST (1997), THE HUNT (2020), and of course Tremors: Shrieker Isl

WEREWOLVES WITHIN Blu-ray Review

2021 Directed by: Josh Ruben Written by: Mishna Wolff Stars: Sam Richardson and Milana Vayntrub It is incredibly difficult to get one thing right when you are making a film be it a horror, comedy, or mystery. To get all of those right and execute a horror/comedy/mystery that delivers on all fronts is a Herculean task and should only be attempted by someone with a clear vision and a complete lack of risk aversion. Forest ranger Finn Wheeler (Sam Richardson) is having a tough time with his girlfriend and sees his new assignment to Beaverfield as the perfect way to be less available. He is introduced to the residents of this small mountain community through the local mail carrier Cecily Moore (Milana Vayntrub). To say the townsfolk are eccentric would be understating it. After a blizzard takes out the town's power the unconventi

After packing cinemas and collecting rave reviews around the world,   THE DAMNED: Don't You Wish That We Were Dead  is coming to home video on May 20th. Hailed as "excellent" by  Uncut , "fascinating" by  The Arts Desk ,and "funny, fast-moving and gloriously chaotic" by  The Hollywood Reporter , the film was directed/produced by Wes Orshoski, and is the first fully authorized documentary on punk pioneers The Damned. Ireland's  Hot Press  raves: " Orshoski came onto our radar with the acclaimed  Lemmy  documentary in 2011 [which he co-directed/produced] and has once again created a tour de force, presenting an entertaining and searingly honest depiction of the grievously overlooked punk legends."
